Running Event Branding
The Grey Ribbon Crusade is a yearly 5K race to raise funds for brain cancer research. I was responsible for all design-related materials and web communications. Every year, I create fresh materials such as posters, website updates, social media announcements, shirts, and promotional and instructional videos for the event.

Graphic Design
The Grey Ribbon Crusade team approached me to come up with new branding ideas for their annual race materials, including their website, t-shirts, posters, and social media posts. They were looking for fresh excitement every year while maintaining consistency with their brand.
Location Inspired Design
While designing the materials, I incorporated elements directly tied to the events area. I used prominent buildings along the running path that contestants would likely recognize. My goal was to have this event feel much more close to home.
Website Creation
Grey Ribbon’s website updated contestants on upcoming events and housed race results and photos for all previous events. I designed the website with ease of navigation in mind. Using Square’s services, I built an online payment portal for contestants to register in advance.
Social Media
Facebook was a secondary resource that provided the same information and materials as the website. I also utilized the promotional features to spread awareness of the event.
Animation Assets
While working with the Grey Ribbon Crusade, I created a variety of animated elements, including fully animated instructional videos and 3D motion graphics for promotional videos.
Promotional Video
During one of the events, I captured and produced a recap video to thank that year’s participants and draw interest in future events. The promotional video excited runners and drew more significant participant numbers the following year.
