Chevron - Current Employer

Chevron hired me to bring agency-quality multimedia production in-house. I've expanded their video and photography production capabilities by acquiring and setting up industry-standard equipment to capture b-roll, interviews, and photography on-location. Additionally, I utilize my motion graphics, user experience, and visual design knowledge to create engaging and timely content for the company website, Newsroom, and social media channels.

Capturing Content

I've traveled to various locations for Chevron to capture video and photo content for their website and Newsroom. The media is also shared across multiple platforms, including social media, commercials, presentations, and the company's Content Hub.

Animation

Using Adobe After Effects, I've animated numerous icons, logos, illustrations, and graphics for Chevron's website, social media channels, presentations, and email campaigns. Once an animation is created, I can package it in various formats for distribution, including JSON LottieFile, GIF, and MP4.

Motion Graphics

Since starting, Chevron has tasked me with building on and improving video motion graphics for all the new productions. I create templates from most of the motion graphics, which not only improves brand consistency across their video content but also speeds up turnaround times for future projects.

Completed Animation Project

I created this fully animated video for Chevron to showcase my Digital Team’s work throughout 2024. I contributed nearly all of the video, animation, and photography featured in this video.

Visual Effects

Leveraging my visual effects experience, I assisted Chevron in replacing incorrect branding and enhancing and cleaning up video and photography. This enables Chevron to continue using its extensive content library, even after branding changes, and ensures that future productions accurately represent the brand and people.

Chris Paul Project

The Newsroom team wanted to interview and photograph Chris Paul and his family for a feature article. As the sole camera operator, videographer, and photographer, I captured the interviews, coordinated a recording of the Q&A session, and took numerous photos throughout the event.

Social Media Concepts

In collaboration with Chevron’s social team, I developed various video concepts for social media posts, led creative discussions, and created templates for future content. This process streamlined the production of subsequent social posts without compromising quality.

Full Social Media Posts

Most of my longer-form videos are cut down and resized for Chevron's social media platforms. This process includes adding subtitles for silent viewing, remixing audio, recreating motion graphics, and modifying the original video for various aspect ratios and safe zones.

Production Setups

At Chevron, I built an in-house video and photography production setup suitable for a single operator and capable of traveling to any location around the world. This setup has allowed me to capture professional-quality gimbal b-rolls, event photography, interviews, and employee portraits.
